Ran 2.5 miles for the first time today and I am really sore/tired. But I made it! 🙂 Running at night is always quite a bit harder for me and I feel much more worn out afterwards. And although I did eat less than normal, I ate dinner right before I went running. May not have been the best idea ever, but I didn’t want to run on an empty stomach. As I was running, I realized again how this whole running thing is all about stamina. Around 18:00 minutes I felt really worn out and thought about stopping but I made myself keep going because the harder I push, the easier it will become. And I can say that with certainty because I have seen the changes in my stamina from Day 1 until now.

If you are running under an hour, try something small like half a Cliff bar half an hour to 45 before you run. I don’t like to run on an empty stomach, but running on a full one SUCKS (and doesn’t help). If running over 45 min. try a GU packet. GREAT JOB on 2.5 Miles lady!
