Day 9

I did it! Well…my version I suppose.  Today was 1.75 miles and I have not been able to do more than 1 mile yet so I was determined after 2 easy days to accomplish this goal.  First mile time was 10:40.  The next three laps I ran with a 5 or 10 second break sometime during each one.  So although I did stop for a second I started back up.  I have not been able to do that yet so I am ecstatic!!! 2 mile time total was 23:14 or 11:37/mile, a definite better time than previous 2 mile times so I am feeling great about that.  The other good thing about today’s run was that I am not nearly as sore as previous workouts.  Some improvements are being made for sure.

On a sidenote I am having trouble with my fingers swelling when I run.  I can’t even wear my wedding rings without it being painful. Any ideas why or suggestions?

 Motivation

I will create more playlists as I keep going but for now this one is great for motivation.  Yes, there is a Britney Spears song on here but I am telling you when it goes into the break it is awesome.  Great beats! After a little research on the song I learned the guy that produced it, Dr. Luke, produced another song on my list “Dynamite” as well as many other artists on my list. Interesting.
